Coal is the major energy source of cement and paper factories. Biomass can be co-fired with coal using the existing manufacturing equipment/machinery, but there may be a need to modify its structure a little bit. However, whether the factories. will be interested to use.
Example: If the price of imported coal with 26 MJ/kg of heating value is 2,000 Baht/ton while the price of rice husk is 1,000 Baht/ton, will the coal price be more expensive than rice husk price?
